Eat and Stay Near the Louvre: Cafés, Restaurants and Areas
Two practical guides for the day of your visit: where to eat inside the Louvre, under the Pyramid, in the Tuileries and a few minutes' walk away, with the floor, hours and price range the museum publishes; and which Paris neighborhoods put you close to the museum, with each one's metro line. We do not sell tables or rooms, so there are no made-up scores.
Where to eat
The museum lists fourteen cafés, restaurants and kiosks, nine in the palace and five in the gardens. The page explains which are inside the galleries, like the Café Mollien next to the Mona Lisa, which are outside, and why it matters: your ticket does not let you leave and come back in.
Where to stay
Six neighborhoods less than 2 km from the museum, from the Palais-Royal to the Marais, with the distance to the Pyramid, the metro line that drops you at Palais-Royal–Musée du Louvre without changing, and what you give up in each.
